Wings of the indigenous world
The National Museum of Anthropology and History held the exhibition "Wings of the indigenous world. The flight of the images" where Hotpixel integrated two interactive installations in collaboration with Poink Technologies. The first installation allowed to interact with prehispanic wind instruments or flutes that can’t be touched because of their fragility. You can select the instrument that you want to interact with through an iPad and illuminate the niche containing the selected flute. Then, the user can blow on a microphone and listen to the unique sounds of each wind instrument.
The second interactive installation on this exhibition consist of a multi-touch table with an application designed to better understand birds through images, texts and characteristic sounds of each one and that are part of the inspiration of myths, legends, textiles and looms of the indigenous world.
